What is passion & more importantly,
where does it come from?

I believe passion comes from our innate gifts; the things that are internal to only us. Now, I understand you are reading this & expecting me to continue on like some kind of internet self-help guru & believe me, that is not my intent. The simple truth is that I truly do believe that each of us have certain inalienable gifts that are exclusive to us.

These gifts are dictated by our experiences & through our obstacles. For me, passion means to realize your gift & learn how to use it to serve others and live your purpose..

For me, I’ve always felt my purpose was to lead others into a better place, away from suffering. My passion for fitness & wellness on the other hand comes from many different areas, but was primarily built out of my own personal struggle.

As I was going through college, I developed anxiety & depression during a very hard time of my life.

As I was going through college, I developed anxiety & depression during a very hard time of my life.

I was working three jobs, 60+ hours a week, going to school full-time, all while trying to preserve a personal relationship, professional obligations, and for the most part trying to figure “it” all out.

While this was all going on I was learning to witness tremendous amount of external suffering as I witnessed my parents deal with severe health conditions of their own as well as the mental side effects that come along with any kind of disease.

A lot of times, I wondered how I would find my way through it all.

A lot of times, I wondered how I would find my way through it all.

At times, I felt extremely helpless, lost, and most painfully; I felt alone.

It was during the height of all of this that I found my saving grace; fitness & bodybuilding

The gym became my escape. Everyday, I would turn off the noise for a few hours, go train & I learned everything else became more manageable.

Through this time I developed an extreme hunger. I wasn’t sure what my path would be, but I as I made progress in the gym other things began to become clearer too.

It was during this time of extreme focus, I set a goal of doing my first content. In 6 months, I would go from 250 pounds to 195 & win my first amateur bodybuilding contest.

During this time, I started sharing this passion with others through the form of personal training.

What I learned was that for many of us our emotions, anxiety, and overall energy towards life is wrapped up in how they feel about our physical body.

Once we learn how to control our physical state, we can transform other aspects of life as well.

What began as something I perceived as a side hobby swiftly turned into my true passion. I realized that I wanted to help people cultivate a passion for physical fitness and in turn transform their lives.

As I began to expand my understanding of what maximized the progress of each client, I made the decision to shift from an in-person trainer & instead to hone my energy in on lifestyle coaching; using fitness as the platform to build everything else off of.

This allowed me the opportunity to have a greater impact and spend more time focusing on each client not just in their 60 minutes of training but towards how they made progress in their everyday life.

Over the course of the last 3 years, I have worked with hundreds of clients from across the country and world. The most satisfying joy of my life is hearing how I have been able to play a role in shaping them into who they are today. I truly believe that my clients are my greatest source of motivation & without them, I would have not discovered how to connect my passion to something that would serve others.

As a coach and leader my mission is to serve as the light to inspire others to believe in themselves & their vision while leading them to inspire others over the course of their journey. I believe that through creating a foundation that is physical fitness we can learn to develop the lifestyle we long for & achieve the success we are longing for.
